Military Region 4 exploits nearly 300 sources of information about martyrs' graves

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of June 1, in Vinh City, Steering Committee 1237 of Military Region 4 organized the approval of the survey plan, gathering information on the graves of martyrs who died in Military Region 4 in the country and in Laos, preparing for the 2017-2018 dry season collection mission of the collection teams of the Military Commands of 6 provinces of the Military Region.

In the dry season of 2016 - 2017, the collection teams of the Military Command of 6 provinces conducted a survey of nearly 350 information with nearly 735 graves of martyrs who died in Laos and in the country. The units searched and exhumed 305 martyrs' remains for burial in cemeteries ensuring solemnity, thoughtfulness, and strict compliance with State regulations.

Currently, based on the units having exploited nearly 300 sources of information about the graves of martyrs who died in Laos and in the country, the Steering Committee 1237 of the Military Region requires the units to develop plans, organize forces and means to conduct surveys and closely grasp information about the martyrs' graves. The process of surveying, exploiting more sources of information, verifying information about the martyrs' graves, creating a basis for the implementation of the task of searching for and collecting martyrs' remains in the dry season of 2017 - 2018 has achieved good results.
