EVN's wholesale electricity price framework for 2017

The Ministry of Industry and Trade has just approved the average wholesale electricity price framework of Vietnam Electricity Group for electricity corporations in 2017.

Accordingly, the average wholesale electricity price range of Vietnam Electricity Group for Electricity Corporations in 2017 (excluding value-added tax) is stipulated as follows:

The Ministry of Industry and Trade stated that the average wholesale electricity price of Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN) to the Electricity Corporations shall not be lower than the minimum price and not higher than the maximum price of the price framework. Vietnam Electricity Group is responsible for issuing specific wholesale electricity prices for each Electricity Corporation in accordance with current regulations.

If it is necessary to adjust the average wholesale electricity price framework to reflect fluctuations in electricity production and business costs, revenue, and standard profit margins of the Electricity Corporations, the Vietnam Electricity Group is responsible for calculating and reporting to the Ministry of Industry and Trade for consideration and decision.

The average wholesale electricity price framework of Vietnam Electricity Group for Electricity Corporations will be applied from January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2017.
