EVN's wholesale electricity price framework in 2017

The Ministry of Industry and Trade has just approved the average wholesale electricity price framework of Vietnam Electricity Group for Power Corporations in 2017.

Accordingly, the average wholesale electricity price frame of Vietnam Electricity Group for Power Corporations in 2017 (excluding value added tax) is stipulated as follows:

The Ministry of Industry and Trade stated that the average wholesale electricity price of Vietnam Electricity Group for Power Corporations is not lower than the minimum price and not higher than the maximum price of the price frame. Vietnam Electricity Group is responsible for issuing specific wholesale electricity prices for each Power Corporation according to current regulations.

In case it is necessary to adjust the average wholesale electricity price framework in accordance with fluctuations in electricity production and business costs, revenue and standard profits of the Power Corporations, Vietnam Electricity Group is responsible for calculating and reporting to the Ministry of Industry and Trade for consideration and decision.

The time to apply the average wholesale electricity price framework of Vietnam Electricity Group to Power Corporations is from January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2017./.
