Female student, daughter of a fallen soldier, scores 10 in Biology.
(Baonghean.vn) - Her father sacrificed his life during a forest rescue operation in 2014, leaving her family facing many difficulties, forcing her to work while studying. However, with her willpower and determination, Tran Thi Nhat Anh, a 12th-grade student in class 12A1 at Nam Yen Thanh High School in Yen Thanh district, has strived to excel in her studies.
In the 2017 National High School Graduation Examination, Nhat Anh impressed everyone by achieving high scores in two subject groups: 28.35 points in Group A and 29.1 points in Group B. Total scores for all subjects: Math 9.6, Chemistry 9.5, Biology 10, Physics 9.25. (This does not include regional bonus points or priority points for children of martyrs).
It is known that Nhat Anh's father was Mr. Tran Ba Cong, the village team leader of Hamlet 5, Bao Thanh Commune. He bravely sacrificed his life while working with the commune's militia to save a pine forest from a fire in 2014.
After her father passed away, her mother raised three children alone. Nhat Anh, being the eldest daughter, had to work while studying to help her mother support her younger siblings.
Despite her difficult circumstances, her academic achievements are truly remarkable: From grade 1 to grade 12, she has consistently been an all-around excellent student and has won numerous top prizes in district and provincial-level competitions for gifted students (Second prize in Mathematics and a Consolation prize in Physics at the provincial level in grade 11).

"When I get home, I borrow study materials and university entrance exam papers to review. If I can't do a problem, I try to ask my friends, older students, and teachers for help. For Chemistry and Biology in particular, I need to allocate my time wisely between theory and practice."
Commenting on his young student, teacher Nguyen Van Bich, homeroom teacher of class 12A1, said: "Nhat Anh comes from a difficult family background, but she has extraordinary willpower and determination, and she has strived to excel in her studies."
Nhat Anh not only excelled in the subjects for the B-block exams, but she also performed well in all subjects. She is well-behaved, polite, humble, and always willing to help her classmates with their studies. When I heard that Nhat Anh achieved high scores in both exam blocks, I was overjoyed, as if my own daughter had achieved high scores.
It is known that Nhat Anh will enroll in Hanoi Medical University to become a skilled doctor, as his father wished during his lifetime..
