Female student, daughter of martyr, scored 10 in Biology

However, with her will and determination, Tran Thi Nhat Anh, a 12A1 student at Nam Yen Thanh High School, Yen Thanh, has strived to excel in her studies.

In the 2017 national high school graduation exam, Nhat Anh made everyone admire when he achieved high scores in two exam groups: 28.35 points in group A and 29.1 points in group B. Total scores of subjects: Math 9.6, Chemistry 9.5, Biology 10, Physics 9.25. (Not including regional points and priority points for children of martyrs).

It is known that Nhat Anh's father is Mr. Tran Ba ​​Cong, the village captain of Hamlet 5, Bao Thanh Commune. He bravely sacrificed his life while trying to save a pine forest from fire in 2014 with the local militia.

Father died, mother raised 3 children alone. Nhat Anh is the eldest daughter so she has to both study and work to help her mother raise her younger siblings.

Despite such circumstances, her academic achievements were impressive: From grade 1 to grade 12, she was always an excellent student and won many high prizes in district and provincial competitions for excellent students (Second prize in Math and Encouragement prize in Physics at the provincial level in grade 11).

Sharing about her study method, Nhat Anh said: "I don't have the conditions to go to extra classes or review at a "cram school", so I try to memorize the lessons taught by my teachers in class. Having a firm grasp of the knowledge in the textbook is extremely necessary.

When I get home, I borrow documents and university entrance exam questions to review. If any exercises are too difficult for me to do, I will try to ask my friends, seniors, and teachers. For Chemistry and Biology, I need to allocate time reasonably for both theory and practice.

Commenting on his little student, teacher Nguyen Van Bich, homeroom teacher of class 12A1, said: Nhat Anh comes from a difficult family situation, but with extraordinary will and determination, she has strived to excel in her studies.

Nhat Anh is not only good at the B block exam but also good at all subjects, is obedient, polite and modest, and always helps her friends in their studies. When I heard that Nhat Anh got high scores in both blocks, I was very happy as if my own daughter got high scores.
