The director who stole property fled to Vinh City to evade arrest.

(Baonghean.vn) - During his time as director of Dat Cang Construction and Trading Company Limited, Mao instructed workers to dig up concrete power poles to extract materials for sale. When he learned that the police were investigating, Mao fled the area.

On August 2nd, the Fugitive Apprehension Department (PC52) of the Nghe An Provincial Police announced that they had coordinated with the PC52 Department of the Ha Tinh Provincial Police to arrest Le Duc Mao (born in 1978, director of Dat Cang Construction and Trading Company Limited - Ha Tinh) - who was on the run from an arrest warrant in Vinh City.

Le Duc Mao, originally from Lac Thang hamlet (Ky Lac commune, Ky Anh district, Ha Tinh province), established and has been the director of Dat Cang Construction and Trading Company Limited for many years. In early November 2016, due to the company's financial difficulties, Mao instructed the company's workers to dig up concrete utility poles in Ky Anh town to extract the materials inside for resale.

Upon learning that the police were investigating, Mão quickly fled the area. Therefore, on July 26, 2017, the Kỳ Anh Town Police issued a decision to initiate a criminal case, indict Mão, and issue an arrest warrant for the crime of theft.

After receiving the case file, the PC52 Department of the Ha Tinh Provincial Police, along with forces from the PC52 Department of the Nghe An Provincial Police, conducted verification, investigation, and apprehended Mao while he was living in Vinh City. This afternoon, Mao was transferred and handed over to the Criminal Investigation Agency of the Ky Anh Town Police for further investigation and processing.
