Director of property theft fled to Vinh City to escape arrest

On August 2, the Wanted Police Department (PC52), Nghe An Provincial Police, said that it had just coordinated with PC52 Department, Ha Tinh Provincial Police to arrest Le Duc Mao (born in 1978, director of Dat Cang Construction and Trading Company Limited - Ha Tinh) - who was hiding from a wanted warrant in Vinh City.

Le Duc Mao, a native of Lac Thang hamlet (Ky Lac commune, Ky Anh district, Ha Tinh), established and has been the director of Dat Cang Construction and Trading Company Limited for many years. In early November 2016, due to the company's business difficulties, Mao directed the workers in the company to dig up concrete electric poles in Ky Anh town to get the raw materials inside to sell.

When he learned that the police were investigating, Mao quickly fled the area. Therefore, on July 26, 2017, Ky Anh Town Police issued a decision to prosecute the case, prosecute the accused and issue a wanted notice for Mao for theft.

After receiving the file, PC52 Department, Ha Tinh Provincial Police together with PC52 Department, Nghe An Provincial Police conducted verification, screening, and arrested Mao while he was living in Vinh City. This afternoon, Mao was transferred to the Criminal Police Department of Ky Anh Town Police for further investigation and handling.
