Speaking at the workshop, Principal of the Provincial Political School Nguyen Thi Hong Hoa emphasized that, in the face of the increasingly high level of learners, there are many channels of information reaching learners quickly, requiring lecturers to update information to avoid being outdated, helping lectures to always be fresh and convincing. Therefore, organizing a scientific workshop to supplement and update new knowledge in teaching the intermediate program of political theory - administration is extremely necessary.

The workshop focused on exchanging main content groups including: Exchanging experiences and supplementing, updating new knowledge, completing the curriculum in the process of teaching intermediate administrative theory; solutions to improve the effectiveness of supplementing, updating new knowledge; difficulties and problems arising in supplementing and updating new knowledge in the field that the workshop raised.

At the workshop, representatives of faculties and specialized departments presented papers sharing experiences, contributing ideas to find solutions to improve the quality and innovate the content of lectures of the intermediate program of political theory and administration. In addition, delegates also consulted many documents including dozens of papers and articles by leaders and lecturers of faculties and departments of the Provincial Political School.

Accordingly, delegates said that to effectively teach the political and administrative theory program, it is necessary to increase interaction with many subjects to learn and grasp new content and information; it is necessary to closely follow the subjects to select the content to convey as well as the Party's policies and resolutions, new documents and materials issued by the Party and the State; increase the practical connection of related localities...

Besides, the workshop also pointed out the difficulties and limitations encountered in the teaching process at school such as the fact that some textbooks and documents, although newly added, have not yet fully updated the knowledge.

From there, delegates proposed practical solutions to update new knowledge in teaching, innovate knowledge content in teaching political theory such as: in the information explosion of the digital age, it is necessary to select information to accurately update documents on new policies, guidelines and policies of the Party and State related to specific localities; need to create impressions for students in conveying new knowledge by methods such as presenting documents, clips, newspaper reports, group discussions. Each lecturer himself also needs to cultivate and learn knowledge related to the field he is in charge of.

Regarding the Party Building Department, delegates said that in order to update new content, it is necessary to strengthen coordination with localities, departments, branches and sectors where the school is located so that lecturers have access to accurate and timely information sources; sign coordination regulations between schools and academies with the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department to organize specialized information conferences close to the practical situation...

Delegates also proposed to supplement and amend some contents in the current curriculum to better suit changes in practice, increase accuracy and innovation to increase the effectiveness of reception, teaching and learning of teachers and students.

The workshop affirmed that this is a practical and useful activity to help lecturers improve their skills and teaching content; it is the basis for the school to soon have an increasingly complete set of intermediate political theory textbooks, improve the quality and effectiveness of the political theory - administrative teaching program, and meet the requirements of assigned tasks./.
