The draft proposes four cases of heavy penalties for social network users. In addition to the above-mentioned acts, the act of providing incorrect information when registering personal information is subject to a fine of 2-4 million VND.

Acts of providing false information, slander, distortion, or insulting the reputation of agencies, organizations, and the honor and dignity of individuals; providing information that is not in line with the country's interests, information that incites violence, obscenity, depravity, crime, social evils, lottery, gambling, superstition, or destruction of national traditions and customs... shall be subject to a fine of up to 10 million VND.

The most serious is the act of illegally accessing the social network accounts of other organizations or individuals, which is subject to a fine of 30-50 million VND.

Recently, many Facebook users have had their images and information "stolen" to create similar Facebook accounts, causing confusion and fraud. Some celebrities have also had their personal images used by bad actors to create Facebook accounts, providing misleading information.
