(Baonghean.vn) - After much anticipation from the audience, on the night of July 1, the final round of the contest "Future Idol" was broadcast on HTV7, the girl from the rice fields, Quynh Nhu, was honored to win third prize.

Clip of 2 songs performed by Quynh Nhu at the final night:

Attending the final night of “Future Idol” were 4 contestants from 3 regions of the country: Pham Linh Phuong (Hai Phong), Ha Quynh Nhu (Nghe An), Nguyen Le Hien Tran (Can Tho), Duong Nghi Dinh (Long An), in which the youngest contestant was Nghi Dinh (7 years old), the oldest contestant was Quynh Nhu (13 years old).

The final night has two parts: the main competition and the bonus round. Unlike the previous rounds, this round the judges gave direct scores. Quynh Nhu entered the final round in not very good health, because she was sick. However, the two songs performed by Nhu, "Ha Tinh, my hometown" and "Loi que", received many compliments from the judges.

With her rustic and simple performance throughout the competition, People's Artist Thu Hien commented: "This is probably an image and symbol of Nghe An people."

After two rounds, Quynh Nhu had a score of 31. The final round ended, Hien Tran won the championship, Nghi Dinh won the runner-up prize, Quynh Nhu and Linh Phuong shared the third prize. Each contestant was awarded a commemorative medal and a prize of 50 - 300 million VND.

The girl from Yen Thanh, a good student and singer, shared: “I am very happy to have won third prize in the “Future Idol” contest. Through the contest, I learned many things and made many friends from all over the country. I will try harder in my studies and singing to repay everyone’s trust.”

Ms. Tran Thi Huong - Nhu's mother said: After the semi-final round, she and her daughter went to Hanoi for about a week so that Nhu could improve her vocal technique in preparation for the final round. For Nhu, the last two times she went to compete, unlike the previous times, she had her parents with her. However, right at the program run, Nhu got sick and could only practice once. That night, fans brought steaming water to Nhu's place for her to steam to relieve her cold, fearing that she would not be able to participate in the final round.

Ms. Huong excitedly said: “I am so happy that my child has made it to the final round and won third prize. I hope that from this competition and the award he has won, he will strive to practice and learn to sing better and to let his voice fly further. I would like to thank the artists who have taught him, as well as HTV7 for creating a healthy and useful playground for the children to participate in.”

Taking her child to the exam since the beginning of 2017, on about 20 flights back and forth, from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi, Ms. Huong has always been by her daughter's side. She and her husband have put aside their fields and gardens to support their daughter's passion.

On the stage of “Future Idol”, with her gentle, soulful voice, captivating with Vi Giam folk songs, Quynh Nhu gradually gained the attention and trust of the audience. From the first song “Ve Ha Tinh nguoi oi” to the last song “Loi que”, the girl with the “typical Central style” really left a deep impression in everyone’s hearts.

Perhaps because of that love, along with sympathy for the “hard-working country mother”, many fans in the South have come to Huong and her children’s house in Yen Thanh to learn more and help. Some gave them electric bicycles, some gave them TVs, some sponsored trips… After their child’s competition, it seems that many things in Huong’s family have changed.

Ms. Huong “revealed”: Although the airfare was sponsored for travel, the trip back to her hometown after Nhu’s final night had to go by car because “there were too many gifts”, relatives and fans gave her a lot of gifts, all sorts of things from pots, flower pots, vases, bonsai trees… She couldn’t refuse them, so she accepted everything “to please everyone”, so when she returned to her hometown she had to rent a car to transport them.

After the final night, Quynh Nhu and her family had their first trip to Cua Lo beach, she immediately participated in a charity concert at Nghe An General Hospital with People's Artist Hong Luu. It is known that Nhu and her friends in "Future Idol" will soon have a gathering night at the Lotus Festival in Yen Thanh.
