Currently, Mr. Thanh and his crew are actively anchoring and tying ropes to stabilize the ship's position. At the same time, they are checking the equipment and machinery on board and proactively taking measures to protect the ship in case the storm makes direct landfall in Quynh Luu.

All boats of Quynh Luu district (1,275) have anchored and safely taken shelter from storm No. 2. In Son Hai commune alone, with 267 boats, of which 212 are boats over 90 CV, immediately after receiving the directive calling for boats to anchor, the commune promptly notified fishermen at sea to return to the port to take shelter from the storm. After taking shelter from the storm, fishermen secured their boats to avoid collisions when there were big waves and strong winds; at the same time, they prepared plans to evacuate people in vulnerable areas when the storm made landfall.

Mr. Tran Van Hung - Chairman of Son Hai Commune People's Committee added: "Currently, the commune's flood and storm prevention and search and rescue committee has met and deployed measures and solutions to cope with the storm, minimizing damage to fishermen."
