Father and son arrested for drug trafficking, house search found guns and explosives

(Baonghean.vn)- Both father and son were drug addicts, together they bought white goods to retail to addicts to make a profit.

On June 27, the Investigation Police Agency of Quy Hop District Police announced that it had successfully broken up Project 617G, arresting 3 subjects for illegally storing drugs and explosives.

A day earlier, the district police arrested Chau Van Cuong (born 1968) and Chau Van Ngoan (born 1996), both residing in Yen Luom hamlet, Chau Quang commune, Quy Hop district.

Searching the homes of these two subjects, Quy Hop police seized 22.8 grams of heroin; 12 explosives weighing 2.4 kg; 21 detonators and 5.7 million VND in cash.

According to the police, Cuong and Ngoan are father and son. They confessed that they bought the drugs for their own use and divided them into small amounts to sell for profit.

Expanding the investigation of the case, on the morning of June 27, the Investigation Police Agency of Quy Hop District Police urgently arrested Nguyen Duy Hoang (born 1993), residing in Tan Thanh hamlet, Nghia Hieu commune, Nghia Dan district, for illegal drug trafficking.

Searching Hoang's home, police seized 6 grams of crystal meth, 3 homemade guns, 2 cell phones and 5 million VND in cash.

Through the investigation, Hoang confessed that he often went to Quy Hop to meet with Cuong and Ngoan to buy drugs to both use and sell for profit.

Currently, the Investigation Police Agency of Quy Hop district police is continuing to investigate and clarify the case.
