Transfers at MU: Be careful, lest 'slow buffalo drink muddy water'
(Baonghean.vn) - According to The Sun, Coach Mourinho is not satisfied with the transfer work at MU because up to now, Old Trafford has not welcomed any new players after the Lindelof deal.
It is easy to understand why the “special one” is so impatient. While direct rivals in the Premier League such as MC and Liverpool continuously bring in quality new players, the “red devils of Manchester” are still only limited to rumors.
If MU's transfer team does not speed up the negotiation process with suitable targets, the risk of other giants snatching them away is entirely possible.
For that reason, Coach Mourinho wants CEO Ed Woodward and his associates to quickly finalize the deals, avoiding "long nights and many dreams".

The Portuguese strategist has never been seen showing enthusiasm for the transfer issue at the team he leads. From Porto, Chelsea, Inter Milan, Real Madrid and then back to Chelsea, Coach Mourinho only needs to send his personnel plan to the person in charge and wait for the results.
Admittedly, those teams often bring satisfaction to coach Mourinho with speed and efficiency in important deals. Now working at Old Trafford, the "special one" has no choice but to step in to influence the transfer department.
For over a month now, there has been a lot of information about MU pursuing Perisic (Inter Milan), James Rodriguez, Morata, Ronaldo (Real Madrid), Matic (Chelsea), Sanches (Bayern Munich)... However, up to now, there has been no sign that one of those targets will wear the MU shirt in the 2017/2018 season.
It seemed like Perisic had become a student of coach Mourinho when his home team Inter Milan agreed to sit at the negotiating table. However, MU's "sawing" made the Giuseppe Meazza team no longer want to sell the Croatian striker.
The two giants Chelsea and PSG have contacted Inter Milan to win Perisic's signature. The price of around 50 - 60 million euros that the Italian team once offered to MU, is not difficult for big-spending teams like Chelsea and PSG. Obviously, the "red devils" have lost their advantage in the Perisic deal. Having to compete with the two teams mentioned above, it is really "less good, more bad" for the team at Old Trafford.

The same is true of James Rodriguez and Morata. Many people believed that the Real Madrid duo would definitely move to Manchester to play for the “Red Devils”, but once again, the MU transfer team was indecisive, causing the deal to fall into a deadlock.
Remember, Real Madrid do not really need to sell and there are no teams that want to buy James Rodriguez and Morata that the Old Trafford team can squeeze their price. Coach Conte's Chelsea always expressed their desire to own these two stars in the squad.
Money is not a problem for owner Abramovic, it is just whether coach Conte wants it or not. Striker Morata himself has repeatedly hinted at his desire to work with the Italian coach at Stamford Bridge. If MU does not quickly resolve the deal with Real Madrid, the prospect of Morata and even James Rodriguez joining Chelsea is very clear. Therefore, coach Mourinho cannot sit still and watch that happen to his team.
There is a saying “the money that comes first is the smart money”. MU should be careful, lest “the slow buffalo drinks muddy water”!
