(Baonghean.vn) - According to The Sun, manager Mourinho is unhappy with Manchester United's transfer activity because, to date, Old Trafford has yet to welcome any new signings since the Lindelof deal.

It's easy to understand why "the Special One" is so impatient. While direct Premier League rivals like Manchester City and Liverpool are constantly bringing in quality new signings, Manchester United remains stuck in the realm of rumors.

If Manchester United's transfer team doesn't speed up negotiations with their preferred targets, there's a real risk of other big clubs snatching them up.

That is why manager Mourinho wants CEO Ed Woodward and his colleagues to quickly finalize these deals, avoiding any unnecessary complications.

Never before has the Portuguese strategist shown such eagerness regarding transfers at the clubs he manages. From Porto, Chelsea, Inter Milan, Real Madrid, and back to Chelsea, Mourinho simply submitted his personnel plans to the relevant person and waited for the results.

Admittedly, those teams often pleased manager Mourinho with their speed and efficiency in crucial transfer deals. Now, working at Old Trafford, the "Special One" has no choice but to step in and influence the transfer department.

For over a month now, there has been a plethora of information regarding Manchester United's pursuit of Perisic (Inter Milan), James Rodriguez, Morata, Ronaldo (Real Madrid), Matic (Chelsea), Sanches (Bayern Munich)... However, to date, there is no indication that any of these targets will be wearing the Manchester United shirt in the 2017/2018 season.

It seemed as though Perisic was about to become a player under manager Mourinho when his club, Inter Milan, agreed to enter negotiations. However, Manchester United's procrastination led the Giuseppe Meazza club to no longer want to sell the Croatian striker.

Two giants, Chelsea and PSG, have contacted Inter Milan to secure Perisic's signature. The price tag of around 50-60 million euros that the Italian club had previously offered to Manchester United didn't deter clubs willing to spend like Chelsea and PSG. Clearly, the Red Devils have lost their advantage in the Perisic deal. Having to compete with the two aforementioned clubs is certainly a tough situation for the Old Trafford side.

The same applies to James Rodriguez and Morata. Many believed that the Real Madrid duo would definitely move to Manchester to play for the "Red Devils," but once again, MU's transfer team lacked decisiveness, causing the deal to stall.

Remember, Real Madrid aren't desperate to sell James Rodriguez and Morata, and there's no shortage of clubs interested in them, and Old Trafford could easily negotiate a lower price. Chelsea, under manager Conte, have always expressed a strong desire to have these two stars in their squad.

Money isn't an issue for owner Abramovic; it's simply a matter of whether manager Conte wants it or not. Striker Morata himself has hinted on several occasions about his desire to work with the Italian manager at Stamford Bridge. If Manchester United doesn't quickly finalize the deal with Real Madrid, the prospect of Morata and even James Rodriguez joining Chelsea is very real. Therefore, manager Mourinho cannot sit idly by and watch that happen to his team.
