Storm No. 2 passed through Nghe An with wind gusts of over level 10 in the early morning of July 17. Many electrical works and electric poles were damaged and broken. Except for 6 mountainous districts with electricity grid such as: Ky Son, Tuong Duong, Con Cuong, Quy Hop, Quy Chau, Que Phong.

The electricity sector is making efforts to restore the situation. However, due to many collapsed structures, complex terrain, and rain after the storm, it is not possible to confirm when the power grid will be restored to the entire province./.
