Tuổi trẻ Nghệ An ra quân 'Chủ nhật xanh' hướng về cộng đồng

(Baonhean.vn) - Ngày 6/8, đoàn viên, thanh niên nhiều địa phương trong tỉnh ra quân tình nguyện "Ngày chủ nhật xanh".

*Thị xã Thái Hoà: Ban Thường vụ Thị đoàn đã chỉ đạo cho 10/10 đơn vị Đoàn xã, phường và các cơ sở đoàn trực thuộc đồng loạt ra quân triển khai tổng dọn vệ sinh môi trường, phòng chống bệnh dịch sốt xuất huyết trên đoàn địa bàn thị xã.

Trong điều kiện thời tiết mưa nhiều, ẩm ướt như hiện nay, nguy cơ dịch bệnh sốt xuất huyết có khả năng lây truyền bệnh là rất cao và diến biến phức tạp. Tại thị xã Thái Hòa đến thời điểm này đã có 7 trường hợp được xác định là nhiễm sốt xuất huyến.

Việc tuyên truyền, ngăn ngừa, phòng chống dịch sốt xuất huyết sẽ đươc Ban Thường vị Thị đoàn Thái Hòa chỉ đạo cho các cơ sở đoàn triển khai thực hiện vào các ngày thứ bảy và chủ nhật hàng tuần, duy trì từ nay cho đến hết mùa mưa năm 2017.

Tan Ky:The District Youth Union directed grassroots Youth Union organizations in the district to simultaneously launch "Green Sunday" with specific tasks and activities, contributing to ensuring that the environmental landscape on inner-city roads, village roads, and alleys is always bright, green, clean, and beautiful.

In the Lat town area, more than 300 union members and youth of Tan Ky High School, Vocational Education Center - Continuing Education and the Town Youth Union responded to the movement, mobilized to clean up the inner-city roads, office premises; brought waste to the collection point; removed and erased sample signs, advertisements, and classified ads on leaflets on walls, electric poles, and lamp posts on the main inner-city roads.

In addition, at other grassroots Youth Union organizations, union members and young people also responded by hanging signs on the "Youth self-management - bright - green - clean - beautiful - secure" route; cleaning up village roads, alleys, communal office areas, memorials, clearing bushes, dredging canals in the fields; collecting bottles, pesticide residues, agricultural waste...

In addition, through loudspeakers and radio, the youth of the whole district have promoted propaganda and mobilized people not to litter, to dump garbage on time and in designated places, to keep water sources and livestock barns clean, to use fertilizers and pesticides according to instructions and procedures... contributing to the formation of a civilized lifestyle, more responsible for the environment.

This activity is also a meaningful part of the grassroots Youth Union organizations welcoming the 20th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Tan Ky district, term 2017-2022.
