Adjusting the general planning of Nghia Dan town.

(Baonghean.vn) - The Nghia Dan District People's Council has just issued a Resolution on adjusting and supplementing the general planning of Nghia Dan town.

Accordingly, Nghia Dan town has a total natural area of ​​852.6 hectares, of which 398.72 hectares are for residential use and 453.88 hectares are for non-residential use. It is bordered to the north by Nghia Binh commune, to the east by Nghia Hoi commune, to the west by Nghia Trung commune of Nghia Dan district, and to the south by Nghia My commune of Thai Hoa town.

Regarding population size, it is projected to reach approximately 10,000 people by 2025 and 12,000 by 2040. In terms of spatial development orientation, a new integrated commercial and service center will be added within the district's existing commercial center, including facilities such as rental offices, representative offices, financial and banking services, hotels, and supermarkets; a central town market, a private kindergarten, and a town health station will also be added.

The plan also adjusts the location and area of ​​bus stations, markets, wastewater treatment plants, and district-level sports complexes; adds new urban residential areas and neighborhoods; and creates residential strips along main transportation routes for business and service development…

The plan includes adding a high-tech agricultural zone, aligning with the district's socio-economic development orientation. This zone will focus on high-tech production and cultivation. It also includes supplementing the reserve land fund in the south, east, and north of the town, covering approximately 120 hectares. Funding for the plan will come from the district budget and support from the province.
