President Donald Trump's son 'reinforces' team of lawyers ahead of hearing

US President Donald Trump's eldest son has hired an experienced lawyer ahead of his Senate hearing on July 26.

The lawyer that the son of US President Donald Trump Jr. has just hired is Karina Lynch of the law firm “Williams and Jensen”. She confirmed this information in an email to the press on July 23. However, Lynch did not disclose her role in the legal advisory team for the son of the US President.

Karina Lynch’s bio and the law firm website Williams and Jensen describe her as having experience with the Senate’s permanent subcommittees in charge of investigations. She also served as investigative counsel to Senator Charles Grassley.

Donald Trump Jr. also previously hired Alan Futerfas as his attorney after news of a meeting between him and a Russian lawyer last year was leaked.

The US President's son, his former campaign manager last year, Paul Manafort, and son-in-law Jared Kushner met with Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya in June 2016 at Trump Tower in New York in the hope of obtaining damaging information about Democratic opponent Hillary Clinton.
