House renovation for families of martyrs

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of August 31, 60 youth union members of Lang Khe commune (Con Cuong) organized to help with one day of work to repair the house of Mr. Luong Van Thang's family, a relative of a martyr in Dong Tien village.

Mr. Luong Van Thang is the father of a martyr. He is 101 years old this year. He lives with his son and his wife who suffered a stroke and are no longer able to work. His family's house was built a long time ago and has been repaired many times, but is now in disrepair.

From the amount of 15 million VND that the Youth Union of Vinh Phuc Province Business Bloc donated to Mr. Luong Van Thang's family, the Youth Union of Lang Khe Commune mobilized 60 volunteer youth union members to help with working days, re-roofing all the tiles and repairing and plastering the cement floor for his family.
