Renovating houses for families of fallen soldiers.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of August 31st, 60 youth union members from Lang Khe commune (Con Cuong district) provided labor assistance to repair the house of Mr. Luong Van Thang, a relative of a fallen soldier, in Dong Tien village.

Mr. Luong Van Thang is the father of a fallen soldier and is now 101 years old. He lives with his son and daughter-in-law, both of whom suffered strokes and are no longer able to work. Their house was built a long time ago and has been renovated several times, but it is now in a state of disrepair.

Using the 15 million VND donated by the Vinh Phuc Provincial Business Bloc Youth Union to Mr. Luong Van Thang's family, the Lang Khe commune youth union mobilized 60 volunteer youth members to help with labor, re-roofing the entire house and repairing and leveling the cement floor.
