Meeting customers' needs for clean water.

(Baonghean)The Vinh Suburban Water Supply Enterprise (Nghe An Water Supply Joint Stock Company) is responsible for producing and supplying clean water to the districts of Nam Dan, Hung Nguyen, Nghi Loc, the suburban communes of Vinh City, and industrial zones. Thanks to its large-capacity, modern water supply stations and innovative management, investment, and development of the water supply system, the Enterprise consistently meets the clean water needs of its customers in a timely manner.

In addition to supplying clean water from the Vinh Suburbs Water Treatment Plant (in Nam Giang commune, Nam Dan district) with a capacity of 20,000 m3/day to customers in the area and industrial zones, the Vinh Suburbs Water Supply Enterprise also manages and operates the Hung Nguyen Water Supply Station and the Nam Dan Water Supply Station. These are water supply stations with modern water production technology, providing clean water that meets the standards of the Ministry of Health.

Mr. Tran Van Thang, Head of Hung Nguyen Water Supply Station, said: “Previously, the Hung Nguyen Water Supply Station had a capacity of only 600 m3/day, but in 2015, the upgrade project was completed to 5,000 m3/day with modern technology and equipment, thus meeting the clean water needs of the people of Hung Nguyen town and surrounding areas.” Along with the investment in building the water supply station, the project also involved investing in developing the water supply pipeline system in Hung Nguyen town, making it very convenient for customer expansion. Based on the existing pipeline system, the Hung Nguyen Water Supply Station has developed several new lines to serve the people in neighboring communes such as Hung Dao and Hung Chinh…

Currently, Hung Nguyen Water Supply Station has over 3,465 customers using clean water, and the station is actively mobilizing organizations and people in the area to develop the water supply pipeline system to serve the people. The unit has supported Hung Chinh commune - Vinh City in establishing a project to provide water to the people and parishioners of Hamlet 7, Hung Chinh commune, in the construction of a tertiary pipeline network. To date, the construction of the tertiary pipeline network has been completed, and connections will be made for approximately 70 customers who are parishioners of Hamlet 7, Hung Chinh commune... Currently, in residential areas of Hamlets 1, 3, 5, and 7 of Hung Chinh commune - Vinh City, the development of water supply pipelines to serve the people is also being implemented.

The Nam Dan Water Supply Station has also invested in modern equipment and production technology, providing clean water that meets the standards of the Ministry of Health. With an operating capacity of 2,000 m3/day, it not only meets the clean water needs of the people in Nam Dan town but also extends to the communes of Van Dien, Xuan Hoa, and Nam Thanh. Mr. Nguyen Xuan Loc, Head of the Nam Dan Water Supply Station, said: Along with 3,400 customers using clean water, the station is currently actively encouraging localities and people to develop the water supply pipeline network. With a focus on customer service, more and more households are using clean water, thereby maximizing the operating capacity of the clean water supply station.

Due to the investment in the Vinh suburban water treatment plant project with a capacity of 20,000 m3/day, Nghi Loc district does not build its own water supply station, but instead uses clean water supplied from the Vinh suburban water treatment plant. Accordingly, a very comprehensive pipeline network, spanning hundreds of kilometers (including primary, secondary, and tertiary pipelines), has been invested in, providing clean water to 10 communes and towns in Nghi Loc district: Quan Hanh town, Nghi Long, Nghi Trung, Nghi Van, Nghi Thuan, Nghi Hoa, Nghi Truong, Nghi Xa… It also supplies water to VSIP Industrial Park, Nam Cam Industrial Park, Cua Lo town, and contributes to supplying clean water to Vinh City.

Over the past period, thanks to innovative management methods, improved production capacity, maximized utilization of water supply stations, and enhanced development of the water pipeline network, the Vinh Suburb Water Supply Enterprise has consistently fulfilled its assigned tasks. In the first eight months of 2017, the Enterprise sold over 2.1 million cubic meters of clean water and installed and developed an additional 1,500 customers (currently, there are a total of 20,362 customers using clean water).

Mr. Le Duc Thang, Director of the Vinh City Suburb Water Supply Enterprise, said: “Thanks to the timely attention and support of Nghe An Water Supply Joint Stock Company and relevant levels and sectors, the Enterprise has overcome difficulties to organize continuous 24/7 water supply operation at Nam Dan, Hung Nguyen, and Vinh City suburb water supply stations, ensuring the quantity and quality of water according to the Ministry of Health's standards QCVN 01: 2009/BYT.”
