Russia: US supplies chemical agents to Syria

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova commented on Damascus's claim that the US and UK supplied chemical agents to terrorists in Syria.

"Here you can see all the commitments to international law and the victory of the democratic card. Using images of murdered children, they provide poison to terrorists. This is beyond comprehension," Maria Zakharova wrote on her Facebook page.

Earlier, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Syrian Arab Republic Faisal Mikdad stated that the chemical agents found in the weapons depot left behind by the militants proved that the US and UK had transferred them to terrorists in Syria.

According to Mr. Mikdad, the poison was found in rebel warehouses in Aleppo, as well as in liberated areas in the eastern suburbs of Damascus.
