Russia: US supplies chemical agents to Syria

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova commented on Damascus' claims that the US and UK supplied chemical agents to terrorists in Syria.

"Here you can see all the commitments to international law and the victory of the democratic card. While using images of murdered children, they provide poison to terrorists. This is beyond understanding," Maria Zakharova wrote on her Facebook page.

Earlier, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Syrian Arab Republic Faisal Mikdad stated that chemical agents found in weapons depots left behind by militants prove that the US and UK transferred them to terrorists in Syria.

According to Mr. Mikdad, the poison was discovered in rebel warehouses in Aleppo, as well as in liberated areas in the eastern suburbs of Damascus.
