Nghe An signs cooperation with businesses in Ulsan province, Korea
(Baonghean.vn) - Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Duong pledged to create all favorable conditions and always accompany investors in Ulsan province (Korea).
Ulsan, Korea is world famous for its shipbuilding, automobile, and electronics industries, with many famous brands such as Huyndai, SK... Since 2008, Ulsan province has had a GDP per capita of 63,817 USD.

At the meeting, the two sides exchanged and discussed the contents mentioned in the investment cooperation agreement. Accordingly, Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Duong acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions of Korean enterprises that have invested in Nghe An in the past time; at the same time, there were many support activities through education promotion funds, diverse cooperation in the fields of economy, culture, education, and construction.
| On the afternoon of September 18, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Duong chaired a working session with a delegation of Korean businesses coming to Nghe An to survey and seek investment opportunities. The Korean business delegation was led by Mr. Kim Dong Chul, Director of Ulsan headquarters - Korea Industrial Park Corporation (KICOX). Attending the meeting were representatives of relevant departments: Department of Foreign Affairs, Department of Planning and Investment, Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Investment Promotion and Support Center, Southeast Economic Zone Management Board, and leaders of VSIP Nghe An Company Limited. |
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that the provincial leaders and related sectors always strive to create favorable conditions for Korean investors to smoothly implement projects, because the success of Korean enterprises is also the success of Nghe An.
Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong hopes that through the introduction and field survey, Ulsan province enterprises have more information, as well as grasp the high determination of the provincial leaders; from there, have an overview, as a basis for choosing investment decisions.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also hopes that after this meeting, the provincial leaders will have more frequent access and work with Korean enterprises as long-term investors of Nghe An province.

After discussion and high consensus, the two sides signed a Cooperation Agreement to maximize the benefits of both sides in attracting foreign investment to Nghe An province, encouraging and promoting investment and business cooperation activities between Nghe An enterprises and Ulsan province in general, and KICOX in particular.

The content of the cooperation agreement includes: 1. The People's Committee of Nghe An province commits to create the most favorable conditions for the Korea Industrial Park Corporation - Ulsan Headquarters in implementing investment and business activities in Nghe An province on the basis of Vietnamese Law. Specifically: - Coordinate with Korea Industrial Park Corporation - Ulsan Headquarters in organizing investment promotion events, seeking cooperation, investment and business opportunities in Nghe An organized by the Company. - Direct relevant departments and agencies to create the most favorable conditions for members of the Korea Industrial Park Corporation - Ulsan Headquarters when implementing investment registration procedures in Nghe An. - Create conditions for members of the Korea Industrial Park Corporation - Ulsan Headquarters to enjoy preferential policies and investment support as prescribed by the Vietnamese Government and Nghe An province. 2. Korea Industrial Park Corporation - Ulsan Headquarters will support foreign investment attraction activities and related investment promotion programs as proposed by Nghe An Provincial People's Committee. Specifically: - Consulting and supporting Nghe An Provincial People's Committee in choosing locations, connecting partners, and organizing Nghe An investment promotion events in Ulsan (Korea) in 2018. - Support Nghe An province in connecting investors in Ulsan and other localities of Korea interested in investing in Nghe An province. - Support Nghe An province to attend important events organized by Korea Industrial Park Corporation - Ulsan Headquarters related to investment cooperation with local authorities and enterprises. - Advise the People's Committee of Nghe An province in making and implementing policies to create a favorable investment and business environment for member companies of Korea Industrial Park Corporation - Ulsan Headquarters. 3. The two sides encourage businesses to exchange information through seminars, investment conferences and send delegations to visit each other to create more investment opportunities. |
