Nghe An signs cooperation with businesses in Ulsan province, Korea
(Baonghean.vn) - Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Duong pledged to create all favorable conditions and always accompany investors in Ulsan province (Korea).
Ulsan, Korea is world famous for its shipbuilding, automobile, and electronics industries, with many famous brands such as Huyndai, SK... Since 2008, Ulsan province has had a GDP per capita of 63,817 USD.

At the meeting, the two sides exchanged and discussed the contents mentioned in the investment cooperation agreement. Accordingly, Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Duong acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions of Korean enterprises that have invested in Nghe An in the past time; at the same time, there were many support activities through education promotion funds, diverse cooperation in the fields of economy, culture, education, and construction.
| On the afternoon of September 18, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Duong chaired a working session with a delegation of Korean businesses coming to Nghe An to survey and seek investment opportunities. The Korean business delegation was led by Mr. Kim Dong Chul, Director of Ulsan headquarters - Korea Industrial Park Corporation (KICOX). Attending the meeting were representatives of relevant departments: Department of Foreign Affairs, Department of Planning and Investment, Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Investment Promotion and Support Center, Southeast Economic Zone Management Board, and leaders of VSIP Nghe An Company Limited. |
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed that the provincial leaders and related sectors always strive to create favorable conditions for Korean investors to smoothly implement projects, because the success of Korean enterprises is also the success of Nghe An.
Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong hopes that through the introduction and field survey, Ulsan province enterprises have more information, as well as grasp the high determination of the provincial leaders; from there, have an overview, as a basis for choosing investment decisions.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also hopes that after this meeting, the provincial leaders will have more frequent access and work with Korean enterprises as long-term investors of Nghe An province.

With its capacity, KICOX will strive to promote cooperation and call for more and more Korean companies, corporations and enterprises to come to learn and cooperate and invest with Nghe An.

After discussion and high consensus, the two sides signed a Cooperation Agreement to maximize the benefits of both sides in attracting foreign investment to Nghe An province, encouraging and promoting investment and business cooperation activities between Nghe An enterprises and Ulsan province in general, and KICOX in particular.

Nội dung thoả thuận hợp tác bao gồm: 1. Ủy ban nhân dân tỉnh Nghệ An cam kết sẽ tạo các điều kiện thuận lợi nhất cho Tổng Công ty Khu Công Nghiệp Hàn Quốc-Trụ sở Ulsan trong việc triển khai các hoạt động đầu tư, kinh doanh tại tỉnh Nghệ An trên cơ sở Luật pháp của Việt Nam. Cụ thể: - Phối hợp với Tổng Công ty Khu Công Nghiệp Hàn Quốc-Trụ sở Ulsan trong việc tổ chức các sự kiện xúc tiến đầu tư, tìm kiếm cơ hội hợp tác, đầu tư và kinh doanh tại Nghệ An do Công ty tổ chức. - Chỉ đạo các Sở, ban ngành liên quan tạo các điều kiện thuận lợi nhất cho các thành viên Tổng Công ty Khu Công Nghiệp Hàn Quốc-Trụ sở Ulsan khi triển khai các thủ tục đăng ký đầu tư tại Nghệ An. - Tạo điều kiện để các thành viên Tổng Công ty Khu Công Nghiệp Hàn Quốc-Trụ sở Ulsan được hưởng các chính sách ưu đãi, hỗ trợ đầu tư mà Chính phủ Việt Nam và tỉnh Nghệ An đã quy định. 2. Tổng Công ty Khu Công Nghiệp Hàn Quốc-Trụ sở Ulsan sẽ hỗ trợ các hoạt động thu hút đầu tư nước ngoài và các chương trình xúc tiến đầu tư liên quan theo đề xuất của UBND tỉnh Nghệ An. Cụ thể: - Tư vấn, hỗ trợ UBND tỉnh Nghệ An trong việc lựa chọn địa điểm, kết nối đối tác, tổ chức sự kiện xúc tiến đầu tư của Nghệ An tại Ulsan (Hàn Quốc) năm 2018. - Hỗ trợ tỉnh Nghệ An trong việc kết nối các nhà đầu tư tại Ulsan và các địa phương khác của Hàn Quốc quan tâm đầu tư vào tỉnh Nghệ An. - Hỗ trợ tỉnh Nghệ An tham dự các sự kiện quan trọng do Tổng Công ty Khu Công nghiệp Hàn Quốc-Trụ sở Ulsan tổ chức có liên quan đến hợp tác đầu tư với chính quyền địa phương và doanh nghiệp. - Advise the People's Committee of Nghe An province in making and implementing policies to create a favorable investment and business environment for member companies of Korea Industrial Park Corporation - Ulsan Headquarters. 3. The two sides encourage businesses to exchange information through seminars, investment conferences and send delegations to visit each other to create more investment opportunities. |
