Seminar to celebrate the 45th anniversary of Nghe An Publishing House

Attending the conference were comrades of the Provincial Party Executive Committee: Nguyen Nhu Khoi - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Dinh Hung - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Also attending was comrade Pham Ngoc Canh - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department.

Also attending were representatives of leaders of provincial departments, branches, sectors and units; officials, leaders and employees of Nghe An Publishing House through the periods and authors and collaborators of the Publishing House.

Nghe An Publishing House, formerly Nghe Tinh Publishing House, was established on September 12, 1980. In the early years, there was a lack of facilities and working equipment, but Nghe Tinh Publishing House left an impression on readers with the number of newsletters and books of each title reaching tens of thousands of copies.

In 1991, after Nghe Tinh was officially divided into two provinces, Nghe An and Ha Tinh, Nghe Tinh Publishing House was renamed Nghe An Publishing House. In 2001, Nghe An Publishing House was under the management of the Department of Culture and Information, then the Department of Information and Communications. The proud achievements during this period are:workhas profound cultural and spiritual value.

From 2015 to present, an important historical milestone in the 45-year journey is that Nghe An Publishing House officially belongs to the Provincial People's Committee. Continuing the achievements of the previous generation, the collective of cadres, civil servants and workers of the unit always promote the spirit of solidarity, innovation and creativity, constantly striving to improve the quality of content and form of publications.

Thereby, gradually building a new look, new stature, effectively serving the increasing needs of readers inside and outside the province. Up to now, Nghe An Publishing House has published more than 8,000 books, with over 3 million copies, in many fields.

At the conference, delegates who are retired officials, authors, and collaborators expressed their opinions and shared their feelings, expressing their solidarity, trust, and love for Nghe An Publishing House. This is a great motivation for the staff of the unit to continue their efforts and bring more valuable publications in the future.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Pham Ngoc Canh - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department acknowledged the achievements of Nghe An Publishing House over the past 45 years. At the same time, he requested to focus on implementing a number of tasks in the coming time: The Publishing House needs toimprove quality, with strong orientation in content and politics, first of all, publications that educate on ideology, history, culture, social sciences and law.

Proactively advise and compile books of practical value on economics, society, culture, security and defense; at the same time, vividly serve the propaganda work for the 20th Nghe An Provincial Party Congress. Promote digital transformation: Quickly complete and implement the project of publishing e-books, developing digital data warehouses, improving multimedia publishing capacity, connecting readers on digital platforms...
