The 20th Congress of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee is scheduled to be held on October 1-3.

Reporting on the preparation work to submit to the Provincial Party Committee for final comments on the draft documents of the 20th Provincial Party Congress, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee Pham Trong Hoang said that, accepting the opinions of Working Group No. 3 of the Politburo at the working session on August 19, 2025 and in the Notice of the Central Party Office, the Editorial Team coordinated with the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board to propose adjustments and supplements to a number of key indicators.

At the same time, coordinate with relevant departments and branches to review, adjust and supplement some contents in the main tasks and solutions for the 2025 - 2030 term. Condense the contents of the Draft Political Report, reducing the length to less than 40 pages.

In parallel with editing and completing the Draft Political Report, the Editorial Team reviewed, edited, supplemented and completed the Draft Review Report of the 19th Provincial Party Executive Committee, the Draft Resolution of the Congress and the Draft Action Program to implement the Resolution of the Congress to ensure consistency and unity.

Based on opinions at the meeting, the Provincial Party Standing Committee agreed on the Congress theme:"Building a clean and strong Party organization and political system; comprehensive innovation, breakthrough development, striving to turn Nghe An into a fairly developed province, a national growth pole in the new development era". Congress motto:"Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development".

Based on the opinions of Working Group No. 3 of the Politburo and Official Dispatch No. 12067 of the Ministry of Finance, the Draft Political Report identifies 39 indicators, including: 5 groups of indicators on Party building and the political system; 10 groups of indicators on economy, science and technology; 17 indicators on culture and society; 5 indicators on environment; 2 indicators on national defense and security. The Draft has adjusted a number of indicators on GRDP per capita, export turnover, human development index and indicators related to administrative reform.

Regarding the tasks and solutions for the coming term, in the field of education, the Editorial Board has updated and re-edited according to the spirit of Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW dated August 22, 2025 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training development. In the field of health, it has been re-edited according to the new guidelines of the Central Committee.

The Provincial Party Standing Committee also gave opinions on the preparations for the congress; the decoration plan inside and outside the congress hall... before reporting and asking for opinions from the Provincial Party Executive Committee at the upcoming conference.

Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Duc Trung requested the Editorial Team to continue reviewing and condensing the Draft Political Report. Continue to review and supplement a number of indicators related to the implementation of Resolution 71 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training development and the upcoming resolution of the Politburo on healthcare development, along with reviewing and adjusting the directions, tasks and solutions to implement these indicators.

The 20th Congress of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, is scheduled to be held from October 1-3, 2025 at the Provincial Labor Culture House (Thanh Vinh ward).

At the meeting, the Provincial Party Standing Committee listened to and gave opinions on other matters within its authority.
