Celebrating 995 years of Nghe An's name, 95 years of Nghe Tinh Soviet and receiving the certificate of ranking as a special national monument of Nghe Tinh Soviet

Attending the ceremony, the Central leaders included comrades: Nguyen Sinh Hung - former Politburo member, former Chairman of the National Assembly; Mai Van Chinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister; Thai Thanh Quy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee; Nguyen Quang Duc - Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Education Committee; Hoang Dao Cuong - Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism; and representatives of leaders of ministries, branches and central units.

Delegates from Military Region 4 and Ha Tinh province included: Major General Nguyen Ngoc Ha - Deputy Commander of Military Region 4; Nguyen Duy Lam - Secretary of Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee; Tran The Dung - Standing Deputy Secretary of Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee.

Delegates from Nghe An province included comrades: Nguyen Duc Trung - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Hoang Nghia Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Le Hong Vinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, along with revolutionary veterans, Heroic Vietnamese Mothers; leaders of provincial departments, agencies and units.

Honoring and spreading historical values, cultural traditions, revolution and cultural identity of Nghe An

Before the ceremony, delegates from the Central Government and Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces offered flowers and incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the great resistance wars of the nation at the memorial house in the grounds of the Nghe An - Soviet Nghe Tinh Museum.

The celebration aims to affirm, honor and spread the historical values, cultural traditions, revolution and cultural identity of Nghe An throughout the 995 years since the name Nghe An was recorded in history books.

At the same time, we pay tribute to and honor the previous generations who made many contributions and sacrifices in the cause of building and defending the country, especially the great contributions in the Nghe Tinh Soviet revolutionary movement 1930-1931.

Delivering a speech at the ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh emphasized that, over nearly 10 centuries under the name Nghe An, this land has witnessed and participated in every step of the nation's transformation.

Over the past 995 years, we have preserved, created, cultivated and crystallized beautiful cultural and spiritual values. The name Nghe An, therefore, has become a source of pride, a symbol of the will, determination and aspiration to rise of many generations.

In that journey, the Nghe Tinh Soviet was the first rehearsal, the heroic epic that preceded the great victory of the August Revolution in 1945. 95 years have passed, but the Nghe Tinh Soviet legacy still retains its value with traces preserved in this revolutionary homeland.

"Being proud of the past, we are more deeply aware of our responsibility for the present and the future. Promoting the glorious tradition, over the past years, the Party Committee, government and people of Nghe An have united, strived to overcome all difficulties and challenges, and achieved comprehensive and proud achievements," said the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh said that the new era, new opportunities are opening up, the road ahead is opening up for Nghe An both opportunities and challenges; implementing President Ho Chi Minh's will to make Nghe An a prosperous province of the country, cadres, party members and people of the province will uphold the spirit of solidarity, overcome difficulties, be proactive and creative, promote the patriotic emulation movement, and be determined to successfully complete the set targets, goals and tasks.

Continue to promote and spread the value of historical sites

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Dao Cuong said that Nghe An needs to have a comprehensive and detailed plan for socio-economic development, linked to historical and cultural relics in the province. Especially relics related to the Nghe Tinh Soviet Movement.

At the same time, continue to research and collect historical documents, coordinate with the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province to build scientific records of other typical relic sites of this movement, creating a widespread and unified relic complex as it has happened in history.

Train and foster a team of cadres of the Relic Site with high professional quality and revolutionary ethics to well meet the task of introducing and welcoming domestic and international visitors when they come to this special national relic complex.

Concentrate resources, strengthen coordination with socio-political organizations to invest, restore, embellish and promote the value of worthy relics to affirm the strength of the worker-peasant masses; of the worker-peasant alliance under the leadership of the Party.

At the ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh presented the Certificate of special national monument ranking "Places marking the Nghe Tinh Soviet Movement (1930-1931) in Nghe An" to the leaders of Nghe An province.

On the occasion of the 995th anniversary of Nghe An's name (1030-2025), the 95th anniversary of Nghe Tinh Soviet (September 12, 1930 - September 12, 2025), the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in collaboration with L'Héritage Group launched the night experience show "Soviet Fire".

This is the first professional cultural industrial product, applying digital technology 4.0 in Nghe An and the Central region to honor and help the audience deeply understand the great historical values ​​of the Nghe Tinh Soviet movement.

The highlight is the spectacular 3D Mapping performance, combining music and laser light, recreating the Soviet spirit of 1930-1931.

The program will initially open every Saturday, as a new nighttime destination in Nghe An; bringing a meaningful, emotional and modern cultural experience to residents and visitors.
