Nghe An honors and celebrates exemplary individuals in patriotic emulation movements.

Attending the program were: Nguyen Duc Trung - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Hoang Nghia Hieu - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Le Hong Vinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Emulation and Commendation Council; Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; and other leaders of the province, departments, and agencies.

The program, broadcast live on NTV, is elaborately produced, harmoniously combining documentaries, artistic performances, and, most importantly, direct dialogues with exemplary individuals in various fields: entrepreneurship and innovation; preservation of national culture; high-achieving academics and sports; ideological work, culture, and national defense and security.

The stories shared are not only vivid and authentic but also have a powerful ripple effect, inspiring widespread participation in society.

In the section on innovation, creativity, and the application of science and technology in labor and production, the program introduced two outstanding individuals who shared inspiring stories.

Businessman Ho Xuan Vinh - Deputy Director of Ho Hoan Cau Co., Ltd., and Director of ABACA Vietnam Co., Ltd. - shared his tireless research journey, resulting in dozens of patented inventions.

These inventions are not only the result of intellectual labor but also have practical applications, contributing to increased productivity, reduced production costs, and opening up new directions for many industries and products in the province.

He is a living example of the spirit of daring to think and act, pioneering innovation, and making science and technology a crucial driving force for local economic development.

Alongside the successes of modern technology, artisan Sam Thi Bich - Head of Hoa Tien Brocade Cooperative, Chau Tien commune - has shared a deeply humane story about her journey in preserving and conserving traditional crafts.

With passion and perseverance, she and her community have preserved the embroidery and patterns that are deeply rooted in the Thai ethnic identity, while boldly bringing brocade products to the modern market. From handcrafted brocade fabrics, the cooperative's products have transcended the boundaries of the village, appearing at fairs and cultural events, becoming unique cultural souvenirs of Nghe An province.

Two stories, one about the aspiration for technological innovation and the other about the effort to preserve cultural identity, complement each other to affirm one thing: the patriotic emulation movement is not only present on modern production lines but also deeply ingrained in every long-standing traditional craft.

It also represents a harmonious blend of past and future, of innovation and preservation of heritage, driving Nghe An's rapid and sustainable development in the new era.

The interaction with the young talents also left a strong impression. Vo Trong Khai, a former student of Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted, excellently won the Gold Medal at the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) held in Australia and ranked 8th among the global contestants.

This achievement is not only a source of pride for the individual, their family, and the school, but also affirms the intelligence of Vietnam and Nghe An on the international academic stage.

Meanwhile, Nguyen Thi My, an athlete from the Nghe An Sports Training and Competition Center, dubbed the "golden girl of Vietnamese sepak takraw," has won numerous top prizes in international competitions, most notably the 2025 World Cup championship. With her courage, determination, and dedication to rigorous training, Nguyen Thi My has become a source of pride for sports in Nghe An in particular and the whole country in general.

These young people are exemplary representatives of today's generation, full of aspirations, passionate about creativity, daring to think and act, and ready to conquer new heights.

The achievements of these students not only contribute to the glorious record of the province and the country, but also inspire and ignite the belief and motivation for the youth of Nghe An to follow in their footsteps, strive to study, train, and excel, spreading the patriotic emulation movement widely and becoming a force for building an increasingly developed homeland.

In the section on ideology and culture, the program highlighted the role of the press and political work in upholding the Party's ideological foundation.

The insights shared by Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Trong Loc - Deputy Head of Political Affairs, Provincial Military Command, and journalist Ngo Nhat Lan - Nghe An Newspaper, Radio and Television, clarified the close connection between ideological work and practical life, demonstrating the power of information and propaganda when accompanying the people and encouraging the entire society to successfully carry out political tasks.

The experience in Nghe An shows that ideological and cultural work has always received regular attention and guidance from the Party committees and government, as well as active participation from all sectors of the population. Especially in the context of the information explosion and the challenges posed by the negative aspects of social media, the role of guiding public opinion and combating false and hostile viewpoints has become even more crucial.

Those working in ideological and cultural fields, therefore, are both soldiers on the ideological front and bridges connecting the Party's resolutions and the State's policies to life, transforming determination into concrete actions in the patriotic emulation movement.

At the program, on behalf of the Prime Minister, Mr. Le Hong Vinh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - presented the Government's Emulation Flag to 10 collectives; Mr. Bui Thanh An - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - presented the title of National Emulation Soldier to 7 individuals.
