(Baonghean.vn)- Upon receiving urgent news about storm No. 10, many fishing boats of Quynh Luu fishermen have returned to the anchorage. It is expected that all fishing boats will return to the shore and anchor at noon on September 14.

At 6:00 p.m. on September 13, more than 20 offshore fishing boats anchored at Lach Quen port, Tien Thuy commune.

As soon as they arrived at the port, fishermen urgently transported seafood ashore to sell to traders to cope with the storm. Fisherman Pham Ngoc Son - owner of fishing boat NA 966.78 in Tien Thuy commune said, this morning, after receiving a report from Quynh Thuan Border Guard Station, we were fishing in Thanh Hoa waters and quickly gathered our nets and gear to shore to avoid the storm. According to forecasts, storm No. 10 will make landfall in Nghe An, so no one on the boat was complacent and immediately went ashore this afternoon.

"Because of the storm, the ship had to return to shore to anchor, but this trip's income from fishing was still about 400 million," said Mr. Son.

With 1,275 vessels, Quynh Luu is the locality with the largest number of vessels in the province. To ensure the safety of life and property, this morning, September 13, Quynh Luu district issued a telegram, requesting coastal communes to urgently call for vessels to return to anchorage.parking; absolutely prohibit vehicles from staying at sea to catch seafood when the storm hits.

Quynh Thuan Border Guard Station regularly contacts fishing boat owners to grasp the situation of movement to avoid storms; for fishing boats operating far from shore and not being able to return to shore in time, they must find a suitable anchorage to ensure safety.

As of this afternoon, September 13, the entire district has about more than 30 fishing boats of fishermen from Tien Thuy, Quynh Thuan, Quynh Long, and Son Hai that have safely anchored ashore.

Mr. Bui Xuan Truc - Deputy Head of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Quynh Luu district said that the locality is currently focusing on calling on boats to come ashore to avoid storm No. 10. It is expected that in the early morning of September 14, all fishing boats of Quynh Luu fishermen will enter the local fishing port and some fishing ports in Quang Binh and Quang Ninh to take shelter from the storm.
