The car will be available to European customers in January with three diesel and three petrol engine versions..

Hyundai Motor has begun production of the all-new i30 hatchback at its Nosovice plant in the Czech Republic.

The new generation i30 has been designed, developed, and is now being manufactured in Europe. The first i30s will be delivered to dealerships in the region in January.

Hyundai's plant in the Czech Republic also produces models such as the Tucson, ix20, and the previous-generation i30. With its current capacity, the plant can produce approximately 350,000 vehicles per year.

Thanks to the high quality of its factory, Hyundai Euro confidently offers a warranty of up to 5 years, with no mileage limit, for this model. "With the new generation i30, we want to continue the success of the previous two generations, which have sold over 800,000 vehicles in Europe since 2008," shared Thomas Schmid, COO of Hyundai Motor Euro.

The goal of the new i30 is to lead its segment, challenging previous bestsellers like the VW Golf. The next-generation i30 will likely add more variants, including a crossover version along with a hot-hatch (a smaller, high-performance hatchback).

The new generation Hyundai i30 will have six engine options, three diesel and three petrol. The lowest petrol engine option is a 1.4-liter naturally aspirated engine producing 99 horsepower and 134 Nm of torque, followed by a 1.0-liter turbocharged engine with 118 horsepower and 170 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the top-of-the-line version uses an all-new 1.4-liter T-GDI turbocharged engine with 138 horsepower and 242 Nm of torque.

Hyundai also offers the i30 with a 1.6-liter diesel engine in three power options: 94 horsepower and 280 Nm of torque, 108 horsepower and 280 Nm of torque, and 134 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque.

The 1.4-liter T-GDI engine variant and the two most powerful diesel variants will have an additional 7-speed dual-clutch transmission option.
