Hyundai i30 2017 starts production
The car will reach European users in January with 3 diesel versions and 3 gasoline versions..
Hyundai Motor has started production of the all-new i30 hatchback at its Nosovice plant in the Czech Republic.
The new generation i30 has been designed, developed and now manufactured in Europe. The first i30s will be delivered to dealers in the region in January.
Hyundai's Czech Republic plant also produces models such as the Tucson, ix20 and the previous generation i30. At its current capacity, the plant can produce around 350,000 vehicles per year.

Thanks to the high quality of the factory, Hyundai Euro is confident in providing a warranty of up to 5 years, unlimited mileage for this model. "With the new generation i30, we want to continue the success of the previous two generations, which have sold more than 800,000 cars in Europe since 2008," said Thomas Schmid - COO of Hyundai Motor Euro.
The new i30 aims to be the leader of its segment, challenging previous best-sellers like the VW Golf. The new generation i30 is likely to be offered in a number of variants, including a crossover and a hot-hatch (a high-performance minivan).

The new generation Hyundai i30 will have 6 engine versions, 3 diesel and 3 petrol. The lowest petrol engine version is a 1.4 liter naturally aspirated engine with a capacity of 99 horsepower, 134 Nm of torque, followed by a 1.0 liter turbocharged engine with a capacity of 118 horsepower, 170 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the highest version uses a completely new 1.4 liter T-GDI turbocharged engine with a capacity of 138 horsepower, 242 Nm of torque.
Hyundai also offers the i30 with a 1.6-liter diesel engine with three power options: 94 horsepower, 280 Nm of torque, 108 horsepower, 280 Nm of torque, and a 134 horsepower, 300 Nm version.
The 1.4-liter T-GDI engine version and the two most powerful diesel versions will have an additional 7-speed dual-clutch transmission option.
