(Baonghean.vn) - On September 25th, the 206th Tank and Armored Brigade (Military Region 4) successfully held its Emulation Congress for Achieving Victory, covering the period 2012-2017.

Over the past five years, the emulation and reward work and the patriotic emulation movement of the 206th Tank and Armored Brigade have always closely followed the central political tasks, promptly encouraging and motivating officers and soldiers of the unit to strive to successfully complete all assigned tasks.

Throughout the implementation of the Emulation Movement for National Defense, the Brigade consistently adhered to the theme "Emulating to achieve three decisive victories," linked with the emulation movement "Young people of Brigade 206 studying and following the thoughts, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh"; focusing on improving the quality of training, proficiency, and combat readiness to ensure comprehensive and in-depth development.

The brigade has invested hundreds of millions of dong and thousands of man-days in constructing training facilities; each year, 12 to 15 new models and technical innovations are developed and applied to various tasks. Logistics and technical work have been actively and comprehensively implemented, contributing to improving the quality of logistical support and ensuring the full and synchronized provision of weapons and technical equipment for combat readiness, training, and other unexpected missions.

The emulation movement "jointly building new rural areas" was also effectively organized by officers and soldiers of the 206th Tank and Armored Brigade in Thai Hoa town, Nghia Dan district, Nghe An province; and Ky Anh town, Ha Tinh province, thereby enhancing the traditions, qualities, and positive image of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" in the hearts of the people.

From 2012 to 2017, 716 collectives and individuals received commendations from various levels; the Brigade was continuously awarded the Emulation Flag and the title of "Unit of Decisive Victory" by the Ministry of National Defense and the Military Region Command.

With the theme "Unity, Innovation, Discipline, and Decisive Victory," the Emulation Movement for National Defense in the 2017-2022 period of the 206th Tank and Armored Brigade focused on effectively implementing breakthroughs to improve the quality of training, combat readiness, building a regular army, and instilling discipline; building a strong and comprehensive Party Committee and Brigade, striving to be awarded the Emulation Flag by the Prime Minister in the 2017-2022 period.
