(Baonghean.vn) - On September 25, the 206th Armored Brigade (Military Region 4) successfully organized the Emulation Congress for Victory (TĐQT), period 2012 - 2017.

Over the past 5 years, the emulation and reward work and the international movement of the 206th Armored Brigade have always closely followed the central political tasks, promptly encouraging and motivating the unit's officers and soldiers to strive to complete all assigned tasks.

During the implementation of the TĐQT movement, the Brigade always adheres to the theme "Competition for 3 peaks of decisive victory" associated with the emulation movement "Youth of Brigade 206 study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style"; focusing on improving the quality of training, qualifications and combat readiness capabilities to ensure consistency and depth.

The Brigade has invested hundreds of millions of VND and thousands of working days to build training facilities; each year, 12 to 15 models and technical innovation initiatives are renewed and applied to missions. Logistics and Technical work is actively and synchronously deployed, contributing to improving the quality of logistics life; ensuring adequate and synchronous technical equipment for combat readiness missions, training and unexpected missions.

The emulation movement "joining hands to build new rural areas" was also effectively organized by officers and soldiers of the 206th Armored Brigade in Thai Hoa Town, Nghia Dan District, Nghe An Province; Ky Anh Town, Ha Tinh Province, thereby enhancing the tradition, qualities, and good image of "Uncle Ho's Soldiers" in the hearts of the people.

From 2012 to 2017, 716 collectives and individuals were awarded at all levels; the Brigade was continuously awarded the Emulation Flag and the Title of Victorious Unit by the Ministry of National Defense and the Military Region Command.

With the theme "Solidarity, innovation, discipline, determination to win", the 2017 - 2022 period of the 206th Armored Brigade focuses on effectively implementing breakthroughs in improving the quality of training, combat readiness, building discipline, building a strong and comprehensive Party organization and Brigade, striving in the period of 2017 - 2022, the Brigade was awarded the Emulation Flag by the Prime Minister.
