Huda distributed 1,000 meaningful gifts after the super typhoon.

(Baonghean) - As part of a charitable program to distribute 4,000 gift packages to support people in 4 central provinces after typhoon No. 10, this morning...On September 26th, a charity delegation from Carlsberg Vietnam, the "Deeply committed to Central Vietnam" Huda brand, and the People's Police Newspaper visited Nghe An province.

Here, the delegation distributed 1000 gift packages to help alleviate the difficulties and hardships faced by the local people after the historic Super Typhoon No. 10.

The charity team from Carlsberg Vietnam, the "Deeply Affectionate about Central Vietnam" Huda brand, and the People's Police Newspaper presented gifts to the people of Nghe An.

On the morning of September 15th, Typhoon No. 10 made landfall in Nghe An province with wind speeds of level 12, gusts of level 15, and high tides, causing severe damage to houses and infrastructure throughout the province, as well as resulting in casualties.

The storm was considered the strongest to hit central Vietnam in the last 10 years, and after it passed, many households were left in extremely difficult circumstances due to damage to their homes and crops. Shrimp ponds and aquaculture farms were also flooded, resulting in almost total losses. According to preliminary estimates, the total damage caused by Typhoon No. 10 across Nghe An province is nearly 700 billion VND.

Having directly witnessed the devastating destruction left by Typhoon No. 10 and deeply understanding the difficult situation of the people in Central Vietnam in general, and Nghe An province in particular, Carlsberg Vietnam, especially the Huda brand – a trusted friend that has been associated with Central Vietnam for nearly three decades – has launched a charitable campaign with the message: “Huda always stands with our beloved Central Vietnam” in the four provinces of Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, and Quang Tri.

In Nghe An province, the delegation visited Nghi Hai ward, Cua Lo town on the morning of September 26th to distribute 250 gift packages, each worth 400,000 VND, containing essential items such as rice, cooking oil, instant noodles, fish sauce, and milk, to help alleviate the hardships faced by the people in the days following the storm.

In addition, the remaining 750 gift packages were also delivered to households in Nghi Hoa ward, Cua Lo town, and Son Hai and Quynh Bang communes in Quynh Luu district.

Holding the gifts from Carlsberg Vietnam and Huda in her hands, Ms. Ha Thi Thanh (Nghi Hai ward) was moved: “My whole family fled to escape the storm, only managing to bring back a few of our most valuable possessions. When the storm passed and we returned, the roof was blown off, and our belongings were damaged or swept away by the high tide.”The family's shrimp farm was also completely destroyed, adding to their already difficult situation.

Therefore, when the Huda team members, undeterred by the long distance and difficult transportation, came to deliver gifts, provide support, and offer encouragement, she and many other villagers were deeply moved. The sincere feelings of the team members are the warmest and most practical form of sharing for the people during this difficult time.”

Despite the weariness still etched on his face after days of dealing with the aftermath of the storm, Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan (Nghi Hai ward) also broke into a joyful smile:
