On the morning of September 15, storm No. 10 made landfall in Nghe An province with strong winds of level 12, gusts of level 15, and high tides, severely destroying houses and infrastructure throughout Nghe An province and causing human casualties.

The storm was considered the strongest to hit the Central region in the past 10 years and after the storm passed, many households were in extremely difficult circumstances due to damage to houses and crops, shrimp ponds, and aquaculture ponds of the people were also submerged in floodwaters and almost lost. According to preliminary estimates, the total damage caused by storm No. 10 in the whole Nghe An province was nearly 700 billion VND.

In Nghe An, the delegation came to Nghi Hai ward, Cua Lo town on the morning of September 26 to present 250 gifts, each worth 400,000 VND, including necessities such as rice, cooking oil, instant noodles, fish sauce, and milk to promptly share the hardship with the people in the days after the storm.

In addition, the remaining 750 gifts were also delivered to households in Nghi Hoa ward, Cua Lo town and Son Hai and Quynh Bang communes of Quynh Luu district.
