(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 9th, the Tan Ky District Health Center organized a screening for eye diseases and provided free medicine to over 100 elderly people in Nghia Binh commune, Tan Ky district.

To facilitate access for the elderly, screening is conducted directly at the commune health stations. There, the elderly receive examinations and consultations on eye diseases from doctors and medical staff of the Health Center, and are also provided with free medication.

For severe cases, patients will be advised on treatment options or cataract surgery. In Nghia Binh commune, 22 cases have been referred to the medical center for free cataract surgery.
