Girl 'sets trap' to catch her attacker

Being controlled by Khanh to commit depraved acts and rob property, the girl returned home and called to ask for her phone back, promised to "please" him and then asked her friend to arrest her.

On December 12, Binh Tan District Police (HCMC) detained Nguyen Duong Khanh (25 years old) to investigate the acts of Rape and Robbery.

Early two days ago, Ms. Tuyet (21 years old, from Dong Thap) called a motorbike taxi from a phone app and was picked up by Khanh. He drove her around, making excuses that he didn't know the way, then borrowed the customer's phone to "look at the map" for directions.

Arriving at an empty lot in Binh Tri Dong B ward (Binh Tan district), Ms. Tuyet demanded her phone back, Khanh stopped the car and declared "I'll steal it".

He suddenly threw the girl to the ground, pulled out a switchblade and held it to her neck, forcing her to "please" him. After committing the crime, Khanh drove Ms. Tuyet to a nearby intersection and left.

At noon that same day, Khanh woke up and saw that the phone he had just stolen had a missed call. On the other end of the line, Ms. Tuyet begged for the phone back, promising to make him "happy".

When Khanh arrived at the "transaction" meeting point on Tran Xuan Soan Street (District 7), Tuyet and her friends shouted and arrested him and handed him over to the police.
