Nghe An recognizes 7 local tourist attractions
(Baonghean.vn) - Nghe An Provincial People's Committee has just issued a decision to recognize Nghe An province as a local tourist destination in 2017.
These are: Truong Bon historical relic site, Do Luong district; Quang Trung Emperor Temple and Trung Do Phoenix relic site; Ho Chi Minh Square and Uncle Ho Monument; Dai Tue Pagoda, Nam Dan district; Soviet Nghe Tinh Museum; Muong Thanh Dien Lam ecological area, Dien Chau district; Nua village community tourism site, Yen Khe commune, Con Cuong district.

Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee assigned relevant departments and branches to be responsible for protecting, preserving and developing tourism resources; ensuring environmental sanitation; creating favorable conditions for tourists to visit; ensuring the participation of the community in tourism activities...
Along with that, manage and exploit local tourist attractions in accordance with the provisions of the Tourism Law, the Heritage Law and related documents; develop explanatory content, promotional publications, and introduce local tourist attractions.
In recent years, the above-mentioned tourist destinations have attracted a good number of tourists, making an important contribution to the overall development of the province's tourism industry. The recognition of local tourist destinations aims to professionalize tourist destinations, increase the persuasiveness and effectiveness of promotion and introduction of destinations to visitors from near and far. At the same time, it promotes the role, responsibility and awareness of the management sector, local authorities and each citizen in protecting, preserving and promoting destinations, affirming the quality of Nghe An tourism brand.
The concept of local tourist attractions is stipulated in Article 9, Decree No. 92/2007/ND-CP. Accordingly, local tourist attractions must ensure the following factors: 1. Has attractive tourism resources 2. Capable of serving at least 10,000 tourists/year 3. Has convenient traffic routes to tourist attractions, with services: parking lots, public restrooms, fire protection, water supply and drainage, communications and other services to meet the needs of tourists. 4. Meet the conditions for ensuring security, safety, order and environmental hygiene according to the provisions of law. |
