(Baonghean.vn) - The People's Committee of Nghe An province has just issued a decision recognizing local tourist destinations in Nghe An province in 2017.
These are the points of interest: Truông Bồn Historical Site, Đô Lương District; Quang Trung Emperor Temple and Phượng Hoàng Trung Đô historical site; Ho Chi Minh Square and Ho Chi Minh Monument; Đại Tuệ Pagoda, Nam Đàn District; Nghệ Tĩnh Soviet Museum; Mường Thanh Diễn Lâm Eco-tourism Area, Diễn Châu District; Nưa Village Community Tourism Site, Yên Khê Commune, Con Cuông District.

Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee assigned relevant departments and agencies the responsibility of protecting, preserving, and developing tourism resources; ensuring environmental hygiene; creating favorable conditions for tourists to visit; and ensuring the participation of local communities in tourism activities…
In addition, local tourist destinations should be managed and exploited in accordance with the Tourism Law, the Heritage Law, and other relevant documents; and explanatory content and promotional publications should be developed to introduce local tourist destinations.
In recent years, the aforementioned tourist destinations have attracted a significant number of tourists, making an important contribution to the overall development of the province's tourism industry. The recognition of these local tourist destinations aims to professionalize them, increasing the persuasiveness and effectiveness of promoting and introducing them to tourists from near and far. At the same time, it emphasizes the role, responsibility, and awareness of the management sector, local authorities, and each citizen in protecting, preserving, and developing these destinations, affirming the quality of the Nghe An tourism brand.
The concept of a local tourist destination is defined in Article 9 of Decree No. 92/2007/ND-CP. Accordingly, a local tourist destination must ensure the following elements: 1. It has attractive tourism resources. 2. Capable of serving a minimum of 10,000 tourists per year. 3. There are convenient transportation routes to tourist destinations, and services such as parking lots, public restrooms, fire safety, water supply and drainage, communication, and other services that meet the needs of tourists. 4. Meet the conditions regarding security, safety, order, and environmental hygiene as prescribed by law. |
