The 371 billion VND overpass at the intersection in Nghe An has been opened to traffic.
(Baonghean.vn) - After more than two years of construction, the overpass across National Highway 1A in Cau Giat town (Quynh Luu district, Nghe An province) has been completed and opened to traffic.
The opening ceremony for this overpass is scheduled for January 20th.
This is a project connecting National Highway 48B to Lach Quen Port, via National Highway 1A, with a length of 12.13 km. The starting point is at Km0+00 (National Highway 48B, Lach Quen Port) in Quynh Thuan commune, Quynh Luu district; the end point is at Km12+500 (National Highway 48B) intersecting with the road leading to Cau Giat station, in Cau Giat town, Quynh Luu district.
The overpass is designed for permanent use, constructed of reinforced concrete and prestressed reinforced concrete, with a design load of HL93, a clearance height of 4.75m, a bridge width of 9m, and two 7m wide access roads on either side, with a total length of 634m.
The project has a total investment of 371 billion VND.

Mr. Tran Nguyen Ha, Director of the Cienco4 project management board, said that during the construction process, the project encountered difficulties in handing over a clean site.
Currently, there are still about 4,000 m2The road surface is being prepared for concrete paving; however, vehicles are already moving smoothly, minimizing traffic congestion and accidents on this route and on National Highway 1A.
