Tuyết concealed five blocks of heroin inside a rectangular block-shaped package weighing 1,779.45 grams while transporting them for sale.
On the evening of January 8th, Lieutenant Colonel Do Van Quang – Head of the Drug Enforcement Team of Tien Lu District (Hung Yen Province) – stated that the unit had recently coordinated with the Provincial PC47 Department to arrest a suspect transporting 5 blocks of heroin in the area.

Specifically, at approximately 5:00 AM on January 6th, the task force of the Criminal Investigation Department for Drug Crimes (PC47) – Hung Yen Provincial Police, in coordination with the PC67 Department and the Tien Lu District Police, was conducting patrol duties in the area of Road 72 in Ba Hang Hamlet, Thu Sy Commune, Tien Lu District.
During the inspection, the patrol team stopped a car with license plate number 89B - 006.47 that was in transit. Upon inspecting the vehicle, the team discovered a female passenger inside who exhibited suspicious behavior.
A quick search of the suspects' luggage revealed two rectangular blocks inside a red calendar bag, and a black bag containing three more rectangular blocks in the luggage compartment, along with other related evidence. The suspects were then taken to the investigative agency for further questioning.
The suspect's identity: Dao Thi Tuyet (born in 1960, residing at Group 9, Song Ma town, Son La province).
At the police station, Tuyet confessed that the five rectangular packages contained heroin weighing 1,779.45g, which she was transporting from Son La to Hung Yen for sale. The police also seized two mobile phones and 2.6 million VND.
