In a video released yesterday, March 11th, President Putin shared how he maintains self-control in various situations. "When you lose your temper, you reveal your weaknesses. A person in my position is not allowed to reveal weaknesses," Putin stated.
The Kremlin leader also stated that he can forgive, but not everything can be forgiven. He believes there is no reason to forgive betrayal.
In the interview, he also shared that the secret to his continued energy at work is "always making sure what you're doing is right and being willing to dedicate your whole life to it."
The Russian leader also revealed a gift he received during his time working in Germany. He said that German Chancellor Angela Merkel sent him his favorite beers. "Occasionally, Mrs. Merkel would send me a few bottles of Radeberger beer," he said.
This is part of what Putin shared in the new documentary "Putin" by author Andrei Kondrashov.
In the two-hour film, Putin also shared details about his family, his upcoming term, and his re-election campaign. The Russian presidential election will take place this weekend. President Putin is predicted to easily win by a large margin over the remaining seven candidates.
