The above accident occurred at around 8:30 a.m. on March 18, on National Highway 1A, passing through Quynh Giang commune, Quynh Luu district.
Initial information said that at the time, the truck with license plate 37C - 254.53 (driver's identity unknown) was traveling on National Highway 1A in the direction of Vinh City - Quynh Luu.
When arriving at the above location, the truck tried to overtake and collided with a sleeper bus with license plate 37B - 019.08 traveling in the same direction.

The collision caused severe damage to the passenger bus, with the entire left side of the windshield shattered. The front of the truck was damaged and pressed against the concrete median in the middle of the road.
The accident caused traffic on National Highway 1A through Quynh Luu district to be partially blocked, lasting for hours. According to the reporter's records, at the time of the accident, there were hundreds of trucks and cars lined up for nearly a kilometer on National Highway 1A.
Traffic police from Dien Chau station (under the Traffic Police Department of Nghe An province) and traffic police from Quynh Luu district police then arrived at the scene to regulate traffic and investigate the cause of the accident.
