(Baonghean.vn) - The road connecting Mau Duc and Thach Ngan communes in Con Cuong district is under construction again after a period of suspension due to lack of capital. However, before people could celebrate, many sections of the road were destroyed after the first rain of the season.

Mau Duc - Thach Ngan route started construction at the end of 2011. It is expected to be completed in 2013. The road is designed to be 6m wide, following the standard of a level 6 rural road. The total length is 10.5km. The total investment is over 52 billion VND.

However, due to lack of capital, the construction was delayed. After more than 7 years of construction, the road is still unfinished, significantly affecting the daily life of the people. Raw acacia and other agricultural products are almost impossible to transport outside on rainy days. This issue has also become "hot" in many meetings with voters in the area.

After the 2018 Lunar New Year, the road was re-constructed, bringing joy to the local people. However, after the first rain of the season, the roadbed was ruined again. On sunny days, the road through Na Duoi and Ke Trang villages was covered with dust.
