Provincial People's Council representatives meet with voters in Do Luong.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of June 19th, provincial People's Council delegates Ngoc Kim Nam - Secretary of the District Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Do Luong district, and Nguyen Thi Lan - Deputy Head of the Culture and Social Affairs Committee of the provincial People's Council, met with voters in Hong Son commune, Do Luong district.

Representative Nguyen Thi Lan informed voters about the socio-economic development situation in the first six months of the year, the tasks for the last six months of 2018 of the province, and the expected agenda of the upcoming session of the Provincial People's Council.
During the meeting, 12 opinions and suggestions were raised by voters, focusing on issues such as: requesting the District People's Committee to address the pollution problem at the landfill and relocate 10 households in the polluted area; continuing to invest funds to complete the construction of the flood-resistant road and Road 15B, facilitating convenient travel for the people; continuing to invest to complete the Vung Tron dam project; and revising the criteria for poor households to better reflect reality…
Voters in Hong Son commune also reflected on the lengthy process of renewing land use right certificates, causing difficulties for the people, and requested that the District People's Committee and communes do a better job of planning playgrounds for children.
Representative Ngoc Kim Nam received and responded to the issues of concern to local voters. Mr. Nam stated that the Do Luong District People's Committee is currently planning to relocate households and is calling for investment in the construction of a modern waste processing plant. In addition, the roads mentioned by voters are being considered for funding by higher authorities to complete construction.
Opinions that fall outside the scope of authority are noted by the delegates and forwarded to the competent authorities for consideration and resolution.

At the conference, voters focused their petitions on the slow resolution of entitlements and policies for civilian workers who participated in the resistance against France and the US, the war to protect the Fatherland, and international missions; entitlements and policies for social welfare beneficiaries; and addressing the problem of "fake war invalids and sick soldiers" causing budget losses.
In addition, many voters reflected on errors in measuring agricultural land area for issuing new land use right certificates to the people due to a lack of coordination between the consulting unit and village officials; they also suggested allocating support allowances for deputy secretaries of Party branches…
