Que Phong supports 60 million VND for houses collapsed in storm No. 3
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 23, Que Phong district leaders organized two working groups to visit and give support money to families whose houses collapsed due to storm No. 3 in Chau Thon and Thong Thu communes.
Due to the impact of storm No. 3 in Que Phong district, heavy rain occurred and lasted for 2 days on July 18-19, causing more than 300 hectares of rice and crops to be flooded, many traffic sections in the communes of Hanh Dich, Dong Van, Thong Thu, Nam Giai, Que Son... were cut off, many livestock were swept away. 4 houses were completely collapsed and 47 houses had to be relocated to new residences, the estimated damage was nearly 9 billion VND.

For the 4 houses that were completely collapsed, Que Phong district allocated 20 million VND from the budget to support each house, including the family of Mr. Luong Van Cuong (Na Ty village, Chau Thon commune) and 3 families of Lang Van Hoa, Vi Thi Tuong, and Lo Thi Mam, all in Muong Phu village, Thong Thu commune.
