Que Phong district provides 60 million VND in support for houses destroyed in Typhoon No. 3.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 23, the leaders of Que Phong district organized two working groups to visit and provide financial assistance to families whose houses were destroyed by typhoon No. 3 in Chau Thon and Thong Thu communes.
Due to the impact of Typhoon No. 3, Que Phong district experienced heavy and prolonged rainfall for two days, July 18-19, resulting in the flooding of over 300 hectares of rice and other crops. Many roads in the communes of Hanh Dich, Dong Van, Thong Thu, Nam Giai, Que Son, etc., were cut off, and many livestock were swept away. Four houses were completely destroyed, and 47 households had to be relocated. The estimated damage is nearly 9 billion VND.

For the four houses that were completely destroyed, Que Phong district allocated 20 million VND from its budget to support each family, including the family of Mr. Luong Van Cuong (Na Ty village, Chau Thon commune) and the three families of Lang Van Hoa, Vi Thi Tuong, and Lo Thi Mam, all in Muong Phu village, Thong Thu commune.
