It has been announced that the agency making the request will be the Royal Prosecutor's Office, which is nearing the conclusion of its investigation.
The newspaper emphasized that the decision to request the transfer had caused controversy within the British government, with some cabinet members demanding a tougher stance in relations with Russia, while others viewed the proposal as a meaningless political gesture.
"The Public Prosecutions have prepared a request and, as far as we understand, they are ready to proceed… Police have identified the suspects, who have traveled to and from the United Kingdom," a British government source stated.
