After fighting with his sister, Tuan used a wooden stick to repeatedly hit his elderly parents on the head, causing their deaths.

On the morning of August 11, the Investigation Police Agency, Vinh Long Provincial Police, said that they had basically determined the cause of the murder of biological parents that occurred on the morning of August 10, in Phu Loc commune, Tam Binh district, Vinh Long province.

Initially, Vo Van Tuan (40 years old), the suspect in the case, confessed: At around 4am on August 10, Tuan and his younger sister, Vo Thi Han (36 years old), had an argument, leading to a fight. Tuan used a knife to stab Han and Han used scissors to stab Tuan in the stomach. Seeing this, relatives intervened to stop him and took Tuan to the hospital for emergency treatment.

However, after walking a distance, Tuan returned home and saw Mrs. Tran Thi Lang (biological mother) washing dishes. He immediately took a piece of wood about 1 meter long and hit her repeatedly on the head, causing the victim to die on the spot.

Not stopping there, Tuan took the stick above and went to Mr. Vo Van A's (biological father) bed and hit him on the head until he died.

Ms. Ho Dan Thanh (granddaughter) of the two victims saw the incident and immediately shouted for help, but Tuan chased after and beat her, leaving Ms. Thanh lying motionless. She is currently being treated at Can Tho Central General Hospital.

It is known that Vo Van Tuan was imprisoned for 8 years for rape and returned to his hometown in 2016. Tuan has a wife and 2 children who are now divorced, has no stable job, often drinks alcohol and quarrels with family members. The suspect is currently in criminal detention for further investigation./.
